I legit confused it for a Focus for a second based on the thumbnail from the main page of Oppo.

I think Hyundai is dumb to not bring this to the USA and instead make some other N model (either the Elantra or Veloster). The performance package with the 275 hp motor and LSD would be a good bargain alternative to the Civic Type-R if it were priced right.

That is easily the best looking Hyundai I’ve ever seen.

I like it. Its got an air of GTI about it. I couldn’t find if its coming here or not. But they really should do it. (ONLY if they fix the super numb steering that plagues Hyundais) Its really only their money to lose.
We will be getting the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sport though
I like this. 201 HP. Better have good steering.

That’s the issue that plagued other supposedly hot Hyundais. You can throw a ton of HP in a small car, when the steering (and chassis and/or gearbox) aren’t very dynamic it’s pointless.
The front page article keeps whining about HP and 0-60, but IMHO that’s almost irrelevant if steering/chassis/gearbox aren’t ‘fun’.

Front page is not a place for meaningful discussion because there is a complete lack of knowledge and insight. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but In a massively public internet space it gets drowned out by everyone else’s ten second opinion.
I saw this gem for instance. Every car has to be a race car for some reason for some people. “Designed to be abused” FOH.
